On 26 and 27 March 2022, the Sindhudurg Diocesan Youth Commission organised a Diocesan Youth Meet. The event saw a representation of 42 youth, four religious women, two brothers and three priests.
The agenda for the meeting was focused on the ongoing synod, challenges faced by youth at parish and diocesan levels and an election for new office bearers for the years 2022-2024. Many candidates volunteered for leadership roles. The outgoing youth president was felicitated for her hard work and was awarded a certificate of appreciation. Fr Melwin Pais, Director of the Youth Commission, was also awarded a certificate as a token of love for his hard work and dedication. The event ended with a fellowship meal.
