Rosary English School Malvan celebrated its Silver Jubilee today (29 Feb 2020); the celebrations commenced with a thanksgiving Mass presided by Bishop Alwyn Barretto, along with other priests, religious and parishioners.
The felicitation program was marked by one-minute silence in honour of late Rt Rev Valerian D’Souza, the Bishop Emeritus of Poona who was the real inspiration behind the school and who passed away on 25/02/2020.
A unique feature of the program was the felicitation of ex-students of all past batches. The current students presented a host of cultural items.
Rosary English School Malvan was established in 1995 and was blessed by the late Rt. Rev. Valerian D’Souza in 2003. The late Fr Gabriel D’silva was the founding father of the school.
From its foundation to date, the school has maintained the tradition of achieving 100% result in the SSC examinations.
