On 7th April 2022, Bishop Alwyn Barreto along with the presbyterate of the Diocese of Sindhudurg, religious women, seminarians and the laity celebrated the Chrism Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Vengurla.
The parish under the leadership of Msgr Andrew D’mello, Parish Priest and his assistants Frs Cajeton Rodrigues and Anthony Fernandes, in collaboration with the religious women and laity of the parish, meticulously organised the entire program. Every aspect of the Eucharistic celebration was well planned and organised, including a fellowship meal post the Eucharistic celebration. Priests, religious and laity from all over the diocese attended the Chrism mass.
